Decided to lower the pricing for iplotz to $99 a year for the hosted version and $75 for the download app. I think long term most people will want to collaborate with others online, but create ideas and mockups offline when traveling for instance. We'll see how that goes.
We've sent out a Press release today, and emailed our user database at vtc.com, so we should have a flood of new customers soon. Lots more feedback I hope...always like new ideas coming my way. I know what I wanted to use in the software, but there are always novel ways of using iplotz that I never thought of...

I am an information architect and interested in the collaborative elements of the online version of iplotz.
A few questions:
1. does the $99 yearly fee have to be renewed even for the desktop version - ie: is there a functionality end date?
2. when a user creates a note/message on a wireframe, is email notifications supported to the targetted recipient?
3. are your online version servers backed up as part of the yearly fee?
Looking forward to seeing more and would definitely like to test soon.

1. For the desktop app, it is a straight $75 fee, no need to pay anymore
ReplyDelete2. no messages are sent at the moment, but perhaps we should take a look at this feature..perhaps have a switch to turn it on to activate.
3. Yes..backups every day on our server banks.
